Yep, Fall is in the air and it's my favorite. Pumpkins, sweaters, cider mimosas-yesssss!
A neighbor posted to FB recently about her sister, a baker, who was doing a mini bake sale. Her bakery is based in downtown Chicago (she started her business out of her parents house originally-so cute!) but she was making her treats available to the suburbs (and also incorporated donations to AdoptAClassroom.org to benefit teachers as well as After School Matters to benefit students). SO glad I heard about her mini bake sale! Yummy and adorable! Local Chicago peeps, check out her site for information on her amazing cakes, cookies, and treats! Love her note, "I hope you find a little brightness and a little sweetness with every bite". She uses almond extract and I can't get enough almond in my life.

SERIOUSLY adorable. This gal has skills and the treats are yummy. I gave some boxed sweets to friends but had to bite into this amazing cookie today with coffee.
Sometimes you just need to slow the sloth down and enjoy a yummy treat!
