In the last year, Ethan developed an interest in the body, organs, and how everything works. He picked out a kids anatomy learning kit from the bookstore that has the various body parts. He loves this kit. We’ve lost a few organs-the kidneys and diaphragm-but most are still accounted for. Ethan likes teaching Tyler about the various parts and what (he thinks) they do. Anytime Ethan asks him “What’s this, Tyler?” his two responses are either “hand” or “foot”. Ha!

When I went to do bed checks the other night, I found Ethan surrounded by various bones and organs from the kit. We can usually hear him rustling around with books after tucking him in. On this night, he must have been brushing up on anatomy. So cute!

Totally happy to support this interest. A doctor in the family can always come in handy!
