John’s New Office

John decided to move his office to our house. He kept his office at John and Susie’s house (a second home they owned here in our neighborhood since 2008) however they decided to list it for sale.We had a third car garage-more like a golf cart garage-that we used for storage. Our contractor began enclosing it last month. It’s just about ready. All it needs is a little touch up paint and the closet doors need to be shortened. The last step is finishing the siding on the exterior. It’s a really nice room! It has that new-house smell. Fresh paint and carpet. It gives me the decorating bug. I hung his curtains and a piece of artwork I gifted him several years ago. He liked the painting so I found it for sale reprinted on canvas. It is really bold and never matched our home decor. He finally has a room to enjoy it! I also made silhouette prints of Charlie and the boys as his new office present.  I think he’ll enjoy the space. It’s only door is through the laundry room so the office isn’t staring him in the face when he’s actually in the home. Plus it’s about a 30-second commute!
