Keeping The Faith

This year marked my first foray into a Bible group. Covid lockdown and a closed church provided the opportunity to gather with three other women and discuss spiritual growth alongside anything else that may be on our minds-current events, family life, professional life, etc.

Admittedly, I came to this Bible Group idea with pre-conceived notions; none of them very positive. I mean, I drink alcohol, I don't know the bible by heart, I lost my Bible! "This probably isn't for me." Oh, the humility! It's actually been very enriching! No matter the topic, each woman brings a unique perspective on Faith and Spiritual Growth.

Pretty cool.

These books have helped me on my journey to Keep the Faith. What are your tools for spiritual growth? Feel free to share below!

I searched high and low for my first Bible from childhood and after sharing the disappointment that it was lost, my friend simply suggested "Maybe it's time to get a new one." INDEED! I love this sturdy and pretty bible. It has neat historical footnotes and inspirational blurbs.

A member of our Bible Group gifted each of us this beautiful prayer book "for the chaos and grace of daily life". It's lovely! I've used it nearly daily since she gave it to us.

My best friend has a tradition of reading the daily prayer with her kids; usually in the carline before school. She gifted this book to us and we adopted the same routine. It's so relatable to kids-short and sweet! With remote learning, we can incorporate prayer into our morning classroom routine!
