Thanks for stopping by Focus Shrugged. While 2020 has been one for the books, it is forcibly changing so much

of our daily lives. After a blogging/family diary hiatus (First Blog, Second Blog), this little site is a way for fun connection during an otherwise really gnarly time!

Why "Focus" and "Shrugged"?

Put together, it's a spin on a 1957 novel which is awesomely titled Atlas Shrugged. 

 

As a photographer, when you focus in on an object, you allow all the light to enter the lens and sharpen the subject. (In doing so, you often shrug your shoulders!)

​

How many of us have shrugged our shoulders over the state of the world these days? Yet, this time on our lives has brought so much into focus, hasn't it?
